Overview
All faculty, staff, and students have access to our private, on-campus Wi-FI network while they are a part of the SUNY Broome community. The below instructions will guide you through the process of joining the private Wi-Fi.
Issue
ATTENTION: VPNs WILL NOT FUNCTION ON CAMPUS WI-FI. IF YOU NEED TO USE A VPN, YOU MUST CONNECT YOUR LAPTOP TO A PERSONAL HOTSPOT.
For students, faculty, and staff, please use the SUNYBroomeConnect network.
1. Open the system tray in the bottom right corner
2. Open the settings menu by selecting the cogwheel
3. Open the list of available networks by selecting the drop-down menu arrow.
4. Select SUNYBroomeConnect
5. Configure the settings for SUNYBroomeConnect
6. If the information was entered correctly you should be connected
