Connecting to EDUROAM WiFi

Summary

How to connect to the EDUROAM WiFi.

Body

Overview

All faculty, staff, and students have access to Eduroam. Eduroam is a good backup if your device fails to connect to the main SUNYBroomeConnect Wi-Fi network. It also allows guests from other participating institutions to connect to a more secure Wi-Fi network than an open guest network. To find other participating institutions follow this link.

The below instructions will guide you through the process of joining Eduroam.

ATTENTION: VPNs WILL NOT FUNCTION ON EDUROAM. IF YOU NEED TO USE A VPN, YOU MUST CONNECT YOUR LAPTOP TO A PERSONAL HOTSPOT.
