The following instructions are a guide for students or faculty to use MATLAB on a personal or school device. This access is complimentary to everyone in the SUNY Broome community. Please note the stated prerequisites below before proceeding. Various screenshots will be included below the step they are associated with.

Active SUNY Broome email
Computer
Stable internet connection
Limitations:
The IT department cannot provide assistance for issues you experience with MATLAB Online. Please direct all questions to MATLAB’s online support. This can be found at https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/index.
The IT department cannot increase any of the limits set by MATLAB Online. At this time, the maximum amount of time per month is 20 hours and the maximum amount of storage is 5 GB.
Instructions:
Navigate to the link (https://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/student.html)
Select Get MATLAB
Select Create Account
Enter your SUNY Broome email address and select Next
Create a password and enter the code sent to your email address.
Enter your name and other information. Click Next when you are finished.
Select New York from the State dropdown, then type in and select Broome Community College. Click Next.
Under Use MATLAB Online, select Use now for free
This will take you to MATLAB Online.
