Connecting iPhones to Campus WiFi

All faculty, staff, and students have access to our private, on-campus Wi-FI network while they are a part of the SUNY Broome community.  The below instructions will guide you through the process of joining the private Wi-Fi. 

ATTENTION: VPNs WILL NOT FUNCTION ON CAMPUS WI-FI. IF YOU NEED TO USE A VPN, YOU MUST CONNECT YOUR LAPTOP TO A PERSONAL HOTSPOT.

 

For students, faculty, and staff, please use the SUNYBroomeConnect network.

 

1. Get to settings

 

2. Select WiFi.

 

3. Select SUNYBroomeConnect.

 

4. Enter in your MyCollege credentials. Then select Join.

 

5. After entering correctly you'll be prompted with KeyChain ALWAYS select "Not Now."

 

6. Trust the clearpass certificate.

 

7. At this point you should see a check mark and be connected to the campus WiFi

 

1. Select the information tab.

 

2. Select Forget This Network.

 

3. Select Forget

 

Now to reconnect go to the top of the page and go through steps 1-7.
