Overview
All faculty, staff, and students have access to our private, on-campus Wi-FI network while they are a part of the SUNY Broome community. All visitors to the campus will have access to our public, guest Wi-FI network. The below instructions will guide you through the process of joining the private or public Wi-Fi.
For students, faculty, and staff, please use the SUNYBroomeConnect network. For all other visitors, please use the SBCCOpen network.
Please note: If you have successfully logged into the SUNYBroomeConnect network in the past, and are now unable to connect, please refer to the Troubleshooting section below.
ATTENTION: VPNs WILL NOT FUNCTION ON CAMPUS WI-FI. IF YOU NEED TO USE A VPN, YOU MUST CONNECT YOUR DEVICE TO A PERSONAL HOTSPOT.

Step 5: Deny keychain
The phone will likely ask you if you wish to save the password in your keychain. We advise that you do not do this as it can cause problems if you change your MyCollege password.

Step 6: Trust Certificate
You will now likely be asked to trust the network certificate. Tap "Trust" in the top-right corner.

Success!
You should now be connected to the desired Wi-Fi network!
Please refer to the TROUBLESHOOTING section of this article if you were unable to connect.
Please note: Every time you update your password on MyCollege or on your campus Windows computer login, you will need to re-enter that same password for your Wi-Fi connection.
